Lectures on the Bronze Age of Western and Eastern Hungary in Sopron and Miskolc

On June 8, the members of our Research Group are presenting lectures in two different cities.

In Sopron, at the event of the Soproni Tudós Ismeretterjesztő Társulat, titled Story-telling past – Sopron in the mirror of the ages, Viktória Kiss and Eszter Melis will present the results of scientific research in the areas of Western Transdanubia, Nagycenk and Győr.

In Miskolc, a whole-day international archeological conference is organized by Klára P. Fischl, titled Settlement Layouts, System and Structures of the Otomani-Füzesabony Cultural Complex. The extremely rich programme will provide lectures summarizing the state of research on the Bronze Age Füzesabony/Ottomani cultural unit.

Representing our research group, Ildikó Szathmári and Szilvia Guba will present the latest results of the research on the village of Füzesabony.
